Description
The Yve Training Level 3 Full Body Massage Diploma course is designed for complete beginners wishing to start their career in the industry. On successful completion of this course, you will be a fully qualified and competent massage therapist and able to gain further training in many other therapies such as, Hot Stone Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Advanced/deep tissue and many more.
Students will learn:
- Theory and effective practical techniques.
- Full body massage treatment
- Benefits of massage on the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies.
- Integral biology and how it effects our daily lives.
- Contraindications to massage.
- Health and safety, and first aid information.
- Develop an understanding of business and how to become a successful therapist.
- Posture for the therapist and how to remain injury free.
- A full body massage routine and how to adapt to different clients.
The anatomy and physiology part of the course will be studied online with a 50 question multiple choice anatomy and physiology test. Students must gain a 50% pass mark to pass.
An intensive fast tracked course, enabling students to qualify as a massage therapist within 3-4 months.
The student is required to complete:
- 10 Case studies.
- Final practical and anatomy and physiology exams.
Case studies are all required to be completed during home study time along with the anatomy and physiology. We recommend that you average 8-10 hours of home study each week.
Our courses are kept to a maximum of 10 – 12 students per course, to ensure that each student is given individual attendance and guidance.
Average earnings of a massage therapist are between £45-55 per hour.
